www.af-ortho.com AF XLOC distal radius plates allow monoaxial angular and / or multiaxial stability by using XLOC locking screws. The threaded holes in the shaft are designed to accept either XLOC locking srews or conventional cortical screws. The theraded holes in the head allows monoaxial angular stable or multiaxial locking. Plate features • screw holes in the shaft of the plate offer interope- rative choice between XLOC 2.4 locking screw or coventional 2.4 or 2.7 cortical screw • anatomically shaped plate reduce soft tissue difficulties • small number of instruments required XLOC 2.4 MULTIAXIAL DISTAL RADIUS PLATES • multiaxial locking option • exactly fitting locking screws • user friendly easy-to-follow instruments • three different head sizes 15° 15° Multiaxial locking options • holes in shaft for XLOC 2.4 and for standard 2.4 or 2.7 cortical screws • rounded edges for preserving soft tissue • XLOC screws with self-holding function and effecient torque transmission • watersheed line For optimal placement of the plate, reduction of possible tendon irritation • XLOC screws can be inserted at an angle of up to 15° from the hole axis in all directions.
